Laurent began his career in fashion and lifestyle photography and has signed a number of advertising campaigns. Winner of the BNF's Grande Commande Photographique in 2023 for his series [La salle à manger - Nature Morte de repas de famille], Laurent now explores human stories and reality. His images are characterised by their lack of formatting and formal aestheticism. His sensitive, intuitive eye thrives on encounters and culinary photography, two worlds that combine what drives him: sharing with cooks and producers, the poetry of everyday life and the unvarnished product.

Laurent divides his time between Paris and Toulouse, where he teaches photography at ETPA and where he has set up Studio Lucette, a place of work and artistic exchange.
