A graduate of ENS Louis-Lumière, Nyima won the Grand Prix Paris Match du Photoreportage Étudiant, and was a finalist in the Prix Picto de la Photographie de Mode. After assisting Jean Larivière, he began shooting portraits and still lifes for the luxury goods industry. Nyima's work is defined by a cinematic approach to light. He boldly shapes it, looking for the twist that will provoke the unexpected and shake up our reference points. His vibrant images plunge us into an atmosphere that is sometimes poetic, sometimes enigmatic, but always at a distance from reality. 

At the same time, he is developing an intimate and narrative personal work. Selected for the Planche(s) Contact residency in Deauville in 2017, he then exhibited at the InCadaqués festival. In 2022, he published his first monograph, "L'Adieu du Minotaure", supported by agnès b foundation.
